VR station at the Turniej Wojów outdoor event at Gród Grzybowo

During the Warriors' Tournament at the Grzybowo Stronghold, we ran a VR archery simulator station. Children, teenagers, adults and historical reenactors took turns using it.

Key information

Format: short rounds for event participants.
Scenariusz: a bow, target and shot, with no lengthy training.
Support: an operator at the station throughout.
Miejsce: a designated area with space for a queue.

VR archery and historical reenactment

Virtual shooting fitted the tournament programme, and the rules were clear from the first attempt. Participants drew the bowstring with their hands, aimed and checked the score. Just a few steps away, they could see the historical reenactors' real equipment.

Organizacja stanowiska

the participant remained in one designated place,
the operator fitted, adjusted and cleaned the headset,
short rounds kept the queue moving,
if the weather deteriorated, the station could be moved indoors.
