Lynx-R2
An Open Design for Mixed Reality
Lynx-R2 is a mixed reality headset designed for professional, industrial and medical applications. Its open design and flip-up visor let you switch quickly between digital content and your surroundings. The headset offers colour passthrough and a wide field of view. It runs on Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 with Android-based LynxOS and OpenXR.
Pancake Optics
Lynx-R2 uses curved pancake lenses, which fit high image quality into a compact housing. Two LCD panels provide 2312×2160 pixels per eye, a 90 Hz refresh rate and 24 pixels per degree at the centre and 17 at the edges. The viewing experience depends on headset fit and content.

Field of view
Headsets offer a 126° horizontal and 103° vertical field of view. The visible field depends on fit; this does not promise an image without visible edges.

An Open Design With a Flip-Up Visor
Thanks to an open peripheral design and a flip-up visor you can look at a keyboard, notes or another person without removing the headset. The flip-up visor provides a direct view of your surroundings. Resuming content depends on the app; the design alone does not establish suitability for a particular workplace.
High-Resolution Colour Passthrough
You see your surroundings through two RGB cameras with 2464×2464 resolution. Passthrough quality and the legibility of small details depend on lighting, distance and the app.
Cameras and a Depth Sensor
Tracking uses four black-and-white cameras, an iToF sensor with 672×804 resolution and two infrared illuminators. Tracking performance depends on the surroundings and app; no unverified fixed latency is promised.
