bHaptics TactVisor
Haptics in the VR headset's facial pad
bHaptics TactVisor adds four vibration points to the headset's face pad. It plays effects created for a compatible game or application. Before purchasing, check two things: whether the software supports TactVisor and whether you have a suitable facial interface frame with hook-and-loop attachment.
Four vibration points
The pad contains four ERM motors. An application with TactVisor integration can activate them for specific events, and you can adjust the intensity in the Player settings. The user receives an additional tactile cue where the headset touches the face.
These are vibrations with patterns that depend on the content. TactVisor does not independently detect events in arbitrary games and does not replace a game's integration with this device. Select the filter for the specific device in the compatibility catalogue.

Check the mounting fit first
The manufacturer lists Meta Quest 1, 2, 3 and 3S, Valve Index and Rift S. These models require a compatible third-party facial interface frame designed for a pad with hook-and-loop attachment. The headset's standard facial interface does not automatically provide a suitable mounting solution.
Replace the facial interface cushion with TactVisor and attach the control module to the top of the headset using the included hook-and-loop strap. The facial interface must fit the specific headset model. The headset and additional facial interface shown in the photo illustrate the installation; they are not included in the TactVisor package.

Compatible game and Bluetooth
On Meta Quest, setup involves installing bHaptics Player, pairing TactVisor via Bluetooth and launching compatible content. Some games also require bHaptics to be enabled in their settings.
For PC VR, check whether the title offers native integration or uses a separate mod. Support for other devices from this brand does not guarantee effects on TactVisor. Pairing the hardware only confirms the connection, not game compatibility.
Dimensions and power
TactVisor weighs 63 g. The pad's outer dimensions are 23.4 × 10.9 cm, and its inner opening measures 19.4 × 5.8 cm. These measurements help assess fit, but do not replace the list of compatible facial interface frames.
The battery has a capacity of 630 mAh at 3.8 V. The stated battery life of up to 8 hours was measured with all haptic points running at maximum intensity for one second every ten seconds. Charging via USB-C takes about two hours; actual battery life depends on the effects used.
Cleaning a shared station
TactVisor has a PU surface and electronic components inside the face pad. The manufacturer recommends gently wiping it with a soft cloth and prohibits washing the device. The statement that the material is dirt-resistant does not mean that it can be submerged in water.
In a lab or during a demonstration, plan for cleaning between users and checking the attachment. Also test the intensity adjustment in your chosen software before making the station available to the next person.
Choosing for a VR setup
For a setup with Meta Quest 3 or Meta Quest 3S check the exact facial interface frame model and the game you intend to use. These two choices determine whether TactVisor will be a practical addition to your setup. If you need effects on your torso, compare TactSuit Pro. Individual devices can be selected to suit supported content, but buying a full set without checking integration support is not recommended.
