bHaptics TactSuit Air
Haptic vest with 16 vibration points
bHaptics TactSuit Air is a lightweight haptic vest that converts audio and app signals into physical sensations across the torso. It uses 16 independent vibration points on the front and back to reproduce the direction and intensity of stimuli accurately. It is suitable for VR entertainment as well as training, simulations and educational projects where immediate feedback matters. It connects wirelessly over Bluetooth Low Energy or by cable through the 3.5 mm audio input.
16 haptic points
The haptic system uses 16 haptic points powered by ERM motors and positioned across the front and back of the vest to cover key areas of the torso. Each point operates independently, enabling varied vibration patterns and accurately conveying the direction of each stimulus. The system interprets signals from an application or audio and converts them into pulses of different strengths and durations. It can reproduce both brief, dynamic effects and longer, continuous sensations while keeping them distinct. The fast response time is important whenever immediate feedback matters.

Fit to the body
The vest offers a wide adjustment range, allowing it to fit different body shapes. It accommodates a circumference ranging from approximately 61 to 127 cm, allowing the vest to fit securely on both smaller and larger users. Adjustable side straps provide quick and precise fitting. A close fit is essential to the haptic system because it keeps the vibration elements in even contact with the body. The flexible design sits comfortably around the torso without restricting your movement during use.

Wireless and wired connection
TactSuit Air supports two connection methods, allowing you to adapt its operation to your application. In wireless mode, it uses Bluetooth Low Energy, providing a stable connection with low power consumption and data transfer fast enough for real-time haptic effects. Alternatively, you can connect the vest via its 3.5 mm audio input, allowing it to convert audio signals directly into vibration pulses without integration with a specific app or platform. This means the vest responds to any audio source, including games, films and music.

Power supply and working time
Battery used Li-ion 4900 mAh provides up to approximately 12 hours of use, enabling long sessions without frequent charging. Charging via USB-C at 5 V/2 A takes approximately 2.5 hours, so the device can be prepared for reuse quickly. The central control unit is integrated directly into the vest, simplifying operation and reducing the number of external components. It processes signals and manages the motors in real time, improving reliability even under intensive use.
