Insta360 Pro 2
Professional 360° recordings in 8K
Insta360 Pro 2 is a professional spherical camera that records a complete 360° view at up to 8K in monoscopic (2D) or stereoscopic (3D) mode. It is suited to VR productions, spatial mapping and projects that demand the highest 360° image quality. Six 200° fisheye lenses and an aluminium body provide complete coverage and resilience in demanding field conditions.
Six lenses, no dead zones.
Insta360 Pro 2 uses six precisely arranged fisheye lenses with a view angle 200° and an f/2.4 aperture. This configuration covers the entire 360° space without blind spots and supports accurate, high-quality image stitching. The aluminium-alloy body provides mechanical durability and dissipates heat effectively when recording at high resolutions, both in the studio and in the field.

8K resolution recordings
The camera records the full 360° sphere at a resolution reaching 8K, in monoscopic (2D) or stereoscopic (3D) mode, enabling advanced VR content with substantial depth. Flexible settings let you tailor recording parameters to a production, from maximum image quality at 8K to smoother footage at the lower 6K and 4K resolutions.

Streaming live and workflow
Insta360 Pro 2 broadcasts live in quality to 4K using RTMP, RTSP and HLS protocols, while simultaneously recording full-quality 8K footage for post-production. The camera integrates with editing software including Adobe Premiere Pro, allowing you to work with the footage without preliminary stitching.

Data recording system and security
Each of the six lenses records independently to a dedicated microSD card, enabling parallel processing and reducing the risk of data loss if a single storage medium fails. The distributed, multi-channel recording system is designed to handle the high data rates generated by 8K 360° footage. Four built-in microphones capture 360° ambisonic audio, while additional inputs support external audio sources.
Power supply and field work
The camera is powered by a variable battery of ca. 5000 mAh, providing approximately 50 minutes of operation, while external power can be used for longer sessions. The camera weighs approximately 1.5 kg, making it relatively compact for its capabilities. A built-in GPS module records location data, which is useful for mapping projects and integration with platforms such as Google Street View.
